1. Data controller

SentinelMind is the data controller for the processing of personal data in connection with use of our platform. Contact us at contact@sentinelmind.dk for questions regarding data protection.

2. What data we collect

We collect data in two categories:

Self-reported data: Mood, anxiety, stress, and sleep quality (scale 1-7), actively entered by the patient.
Passive health data: Steps, active energy, activity minutes, and sleep data collected via Apple HealthKit — only with explicit consent.

3. Consent

All data processing is consent-based. Patients give explicit consent to health data processing before data is collected. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, after which data processing ceases.

4. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Export your data
Delete your data
Withdraw consent

All data subject requests can be submitted directly via the app or by contacting us.

5. Data security

Sensitive data is encrypted with AES-GCM locally on the patient's device. All communication happens over TLS. All access to patient data is logged in an immutable audit log.

6. Data retention

Audit logs are retained for 365 days. Completed processing jobs are cleared after 30 days. Upon deletion request, all personally identifiable data is permanently removed.
